WOODcreation is the result of a long experience gained over the years in the handcraft working of wood.
Trained in ship building at the IBTC in Lowerstoft, England, the author works at severals projects in ship yards throughout Europe. Mastering his knowledge of the technology of wood, he mainly focuses on classic boats, offering his skills to perform restorations to antique sailing vessels of the late '800 and beginnig of '900, from Argentina to San Francisco, from Spain to England.
In constant contact with naval engineers and architects, he becomes aware of the importance to understand the principles besides the actual building of ships and thereby begins to study naval architecture at SIHE in Southampton in England, and with the new knowledge acquired, he undertakes the responsability, co-ordination and managment activities in several European ship yards.
Initiative and an enormous desire of indipendence leads the author to start his activity offering consultancy in several naval sectors and at the same time opens a carpenter’s shop to be able to return to touching with his own hands the highly valued wood, symbol of his enthusiasm.
First, as a mark of pleasure and then always more spured by the growing request, his artistic sense makes him gather his knowledge to carry out exclusive projects in wood, characterised by the structure and particularly curved forms, typical of wooden sailing vessels.
